Vulvar vestibulitis syndrome (VVS) is characterized by extreme burning and sharp pain in the lower part of the hymen. Due to this reason, complaints such as vaginal dryness, vaginismus, dyspareunia and anorgasmia (orgasm incontinence) can occur. Exact diagnosis can be made clearly by an experienced gynecologist. Surgical procedures can be applied to the treatment of pain in sexual intercourse associated with Vulvar Vestibulitis Syndrome (VVS). Under sedation anesthesia, with an operation that lasts about 25-30 minutes, skin tissue are removed in the hymen and its adjacency and treatment is achieved.
